What Is A Rogue Anti Spyware Program?
Rogue spyware programs are like annoying salesman, they can show up at the wrong time and more often than not they try to lead users to buy something else. Without thinking a user’s computer can run amok as if a virus is infecting it, this should not be trusted. Rogue spyware programs mislead, infect and damage most computers.
Misleading attack
Anti spyware programs fight against rogue programs embedded on the internet, when they strike they make the computer seem useless. Ironically, the same attack that is making the computer seemingly helpless also commonly advertises for anti spyware program software to alleviate it. A rogue spyware program doesn’t take “no” for an answer, it will literally stop computers from using an anti spyware program and will consistently interrupt the internet session to download more programs. Even when the brand software is purchased, financial data is compromised in the process. Rogue spyware programs will typically still infect the computer even more after the “brand” software is downloaded to alleviate the computer, if it actually downloads at all.
Savior is a blade in the back
Rogue spyware programs do not like to leave once the infection is present. These programs will consistently heckle the user until either the user gives up or allows the program to take over with impunity. These programs will commonly disable anti spyware programs to mimic the attack of a virus gone rogue, in actuality the rogue spyware program is using it as a defense. Rogue spyware programs mimic brand name scans and falsify virus reports. Altogether they are difficult to remove without an anti spyware program.
Damage is common
Rogue spyware programs infect vital parts of the computer. Removal can require formatting the drive, downloading an anti spyware program or manually deleting the virus at its source, damaging the files it infected.
