Is Spyware Really That Dangerous?

No, spyware might not delete files for fun, but it’s still not good to have it present on your system. It could slow your internet connection down by a tremendous amount (by connecting to the internet to download more malicious software or send information about you), change the way your computer works, take away certain rights you have to your system, etc. Things could get pretty ugly, needless to say. The best thing to do is keep a reputable copy of a spyware removal tool on your computer. Keep it updated on a regular basis, and don’t forget to scan your machine a few times a week. It’s hard to avoid getting online and surfing among internet threats, but you can do the next best thing and protect yourself!
